The library & the information desk

20 June: closed (Midsummer’s Eve)
23 June – 11 July: 10:00–12:00
14 July – 8 August: closed
11 – 15 August: 10:00–12:00

Regular opening hours from August 18.

Unstaffed hours

As a student at Kemicentrum, you have access to the library during the summer on weekdays from 07:30 to 20:00 with your LU card.

Staff at Kemicentrum have 24-hour access to the library and the open shelves. Access is by LU Card only.

There is a terminal where you can borrow library books when library staff are not available. It is also possible to return books via a return box when the library is unstaffed.

The caretaker’s office

Regular opening hours during the summer. 
Monday - Friday 07:00-15:30 (closed on Midsummer’s Eve - June 20).

Ester Mat & Café

Ester Mat & Café will close in mid-June and reopen in mid-August.

The entrances

The entrance doors to Kemicentrum will be locked during the summer (week 26 - week 32). Employees and students with access on their LU cards will be able to enter Kemicentrum.
