Kemicentrum encompasses all chemistry subjects within the Faculty of Engineering, LTH and the Faculty of Science at Lund University. With over 1000 employees and students, we are the largest center for education and research in chemistry in the Nordic region. The activities at Kemicentrum are organised in two departments: the Department of Chemistry and the Department of Process and Life Science Engineering. 

Within Kemicentrum, the departments work together scientifically and strategically. The departments collaborate on premises and operations and have joint service functions. This work is led by the Board of joint services. 

Kemicentrum also has a joint committee for Environment, Health and Safety, the EHS Committee.
